Spring Grove Safety Camp

2013 Safety Camp will run from July 8th through July 12th from 9am-noon.

 

Safety Camp is an 5-day period for three hours each for children grades K-4. The purpose of Safety Camp is to promote safety values and foster awareness for children, in a friendly child orientated atmosphere, while incorporating fun and educational activities. Camp will be limited to twenty (20) children. If interested, please contact the Spring Grove Police Department. The class will include:

• 911 Use Instruction
• Stranger Danger
•  Bicycle And Skateboard Safety
•  Suspicious Situations
• How To Identify A Crime

 

The students will learn about each safety point from the professionals in that field such as Police Officers, Fire Personnel, Lifeguards and Conservation Officers.

Water Safety	Fire & Rescue Safety

The students will participate with each lesson interactively, have home work assignments (911 emergency sheet or personal emergency worksheet), coloring contests and upon graduation they will receive a diploma and T-Shirt. Safety Camp is held July.
